Discoloured, chipped or cracked teeth can benefit from a veneer. A thin layer of the tooth surface is shaved off. A veneer is made to fit perfectly, protecting the tooth underneath.
When a tooth is missing there are usually a number of solutions available. This could be in the form of a denture, bridge, dental implant or a combination of treatments.
A filled or decayed tooth with an abscess. The filling is removed to access the cavity. The root canals are reamed to remove the tooth nerves. Gutta-perchas are inserted to fill the root. These are then cut-off, sealed and the tooth filled. The abscess will reduce. A crown may be necessary later.
